Subject: [ath9k-devel] How do I prevent 802.11n connections (for testing)
Date: Sat, 22 Jan 2011 12:43:40 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <4D3B174C.2080905@IEEE.org> (raw)
I am using Fedora 14 with the ath9k driver to connect to a DLINK 655 router. When I try to connect the system freezes completely.
I can connect to an 802.11g access point without trouble. (tethering to an Android phone for example).
I'd like to try and prevent the driver from connecting in "n" mode, falling back to "g".
Can I do this through a modprobe option or through the proc file system?
What other way do I have to debug ? (setting the debug options doesn't help because I can't look at dmesg because the computer freezes!)
