Nope, something's broken in/with CRDA and the Kernel. Compiling the regdb statically into the Kernel works fine, on both 3.6.38.6 and 3.6.39 (though 3.6.39 is panicing after a few seconds somewhere in tcpmss_xxx.c... yeah... sounds like another bug report...) Both cards are working now, one on 5GHz with German regdom. I still wonder why CRDA doesn't work, but debugging this is pretty difficult.
