With this card and ath9k, the average tx throughput is about 120Mbps. I thought with this card, it should be very easy to get 180Mbps (I can get this result with my 9160 card). With 20Mhz bandwith, under same environment, i can get more than 90Mbps' tx throughput. I have tested two cards from different vendors. And from packets captured, it shows that there are lots of CRC errors, and most of the packets are with MCS 12~15. Any idea? Is this ar9220's 40Mhz' limits, or ath9k doesn't support this card's full capability? BTW: I'm using 2.6.35 kernel, but with newer 2.6.38's compat-wireless driver, no big change.
