Hello all,
I have an issue with some AR9380 cards I am using.
* My first issue is that when I try to connect to a specific network
(e.g. iwconfig wlan0 essid OpenWrt), and I then want to see what has
happened by iwconfig wlan0 I get the following result:
wlan0 IEEE 802.11abgn
ESSID:"\x05\xEF\xF7\x00\xE9\xA1:\xE5\xCA\x0B\xCB\xD0HGd\xBD\x1F#\x1E\xA8\x1C{d\xC5\x14sZ\xC5^Kyc"
           Mode:Managed Access Point: Not-Associated Tx-Power=18 dBm
           Retry long limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
           Encryption key:off
           Power Management:on
Does anyone have any idea on how could I fix that?

* The second problem I am facing is that when I have the laptop in AP
mode and I have a board as a station that connects to the AP, the
station shows to have connected to the network, however the two nodes
cannot ping each other, and on the AP side I get the following:
Using interface wlan0 with hwaddr 00:xx:xx:xx:xx:68 and ssid 'void'
wlan0: STA 00:xx:xx:xx:xx:93 IEEE 802.11: did not acknowledge
authentication response
unknown mgmt cb frame subtype 10
Data/PS-poll frame from not associated STA 00:0c:42:65:36:93
wlan2: STA 00:0c:42:65:36:93 IEEE 802.11: disassociated due to inactivity
wlan2: STA 00:0c:42:65:36:93 IEEE 802.11: deauthenticated due to inactivity
unknown mgmt cb frame subtype 10

- While when I use both laptops for AP and STA, the station seems to
associate for just a couple of seconds and then disassociate, and I
get the following on the AP side:
wlan0: STA 00:xx:xx:xx:xx:41 IEEE 802.11: authenticated
wlan0: STA 00:xx:xx:xx:xx:41 IEEE 802.11: associated (aid 2)
wlan0: STA 00:xx:xx:xx:xx:41 RADIUS: starting accounting session
4E2A5499-00000000
wlan0: STA 00:xx:xx:xx:xx:41 IEEE 802.11: authenticated
wlan0: STA 00:xx:xx:xx:xx:41 IEEE 802.11: associated (aid 2)
wlan0: STA 00:xx:xx:xx:xx:41 RADIUS: starting accounting session
4E2A5499-00000001
wlan0: STA 00:xx:xx:xx:xx:41 IEEE 802.11: authenticated
wlan0: STA 00:xx:xx:xx:xx:41 IEEE 802.11: associated (aid 2)
wlan0: STA 00:xx:xx:xx:xx:41 RADIUS: starting accounting session
4E2A5499-00000002
unknown mgmt cb frame subtype 10

- However when I set the 00:xx:xx:xx:xx:93 (board) as an AP and the
00:xx:xx:xx:xx:41 (laptop) as the STA I can connect and ping normally.

Does anyone have any clue about that? Does anyone face the same problems?
Any help would be very much appreciated
Kind regards
