Please revert the entire pull (git revert 8ef9ea85a2cc1) while I work
this out - it isn't trivial.

True, we should be able to get kvm-autotest to do a sanity test.

I have a truly marvellous patch that fixes the bug which this
signature is too narrow to contain.
