Hi,

as a heads up to users and developers on this list, there's a long standing OO/LO bug where the application often crashes. I've been suffering from it myself. The signs are pointing to a root cause with encrypted swap on Ubuntu, which is using dm-crypt. To further confuse matters, there seems to be an unrelated bug with ecryptfs which is also mentioned in the same bug report. See https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/745836.
