Subject: [PATCH / GIT PULL] x86: more spinlock/asm tidyups
Date: Tue, 04 Oct 2011 12:32:49 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <4E8B5F61.6@goop.org> (raw)
Hi,
This patch adds a helper for atomic adds in arch/x86/asm/cmpxchg.h, and
uses them in spinlock.h rather than the open-coded asms.
It also unifies the two exchange-type instructions (xchg and xadd) so
they share the same core.
Thanks,
J
