Chipset is 02:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Atheros Communications Inc. AR9485 Wireless Network Adapter [168c:0032] (rev 01) Disabling hwcrpyt as suggested in http://www.mail-archive.com/ath9k-devel at lists.ath9k.org/msg04221.html seems to fix the problem.
