Subject: [ath9k-devel] AP mode in 2.6.x kernel a possibility?
Date: Wed, 21 Dec 2011 01:30:44 -0600 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <4EF18B24.8030300@trivera.com> (raw)
Hi all,
I'm trying to get a TP-Link TL-WN722N USB wireless adapter to work in
Access Point mode on the latest stable release of Vyatta community edition.
I'm wondering is this theoretically possible to do on the kernel
linux-image-2.6.37-1-586-vyatta that is installed?
I'm not sure if these features are disabled except in the 3.0 kernels
even if I get the latest tarball from
http://linuxwireless.org/download/compat-wireless-2.6/ and compile the
module.
Also, is the new firmware map
AR9271 - htc_9271.fw
AR7010 - htc_7010.fw
Required? Not sure how I can tell if old firmware is my issue, and not
sure how to load it.
Thanks much for your assistance.
