Subject: [Printing-architecture] Both OpenPrinting Summit and Ubuntu Developer Summit in the Bay Area, but one week inbetween
Date: Thu, 05 Jan 2012 16:24:17 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <4F05C0A1.40103@gmail.com> (raw)
Hi,
today I got place and date of the next Ubuntu Developer Summit (UDS):
http://uds.ubuntu.com/
It will take place on 7th-11th May 2012 in the Oakland Marriott City
Center, Oakland, California.
With the OpenPrinting Summit taking place on April 23-27, having one
week between the OP Summit and the UDS I would either have long-distance
flights and 9-hour time switches on 4 subsequent weekends or staying a
whole extra week in the bay area, staying away from home for three
subsequent weeks.
Therefore I suggest to move the OpenPrinting Summit and PWG meeting to
one week later, April 30 to May 4 (is May 1 a holiday in California or
not?).
Or what is the best suggestion here?
