Recapping this part of the call:
* Anthony will review and merge my prep_pci qdev'ification.
* Alex will check if qdev'ifying bamboo is feasible.
No firm ETA on Anthony's v3 yet, make check + qtest to be merged first.
Post-call, Alex and I further decided that...
* I will test&review the ppc bits of Anthony's "shallow" conversions.
* I will fix the remaining grackle + uni-north.
