Debugging is impossible without special hardware, too, because there is no panic/kernel output whatsoever. At some point, the box hangs itself completely. A soft reset won't work, I have to shut it down hard and start it up again. Also, I have noticed that the fan speed raises a little whenever this happens, but I guess that's just the BIOS protecting the hardware as the OS kernel stopped working.
