Subject: Re: udev hangs during boot (arch linux on thinkpad w520)

Update: It appears that the issue I am/was having with my ThinkPad W520
hanging during boot is likely not related to udev. The short answer for
me was: turn off Intel Virtualization Technology in BIOS.
I will be doing testing this weekend to attempt to isolate the offending
module.

Thanks for all the help I got in #udev. Kay's suggestion to enable
debugging and turn off asynchronous processing helped me to eliminate
udev as the source of the failure.

Cheers
