Subject: [ath9k-devel] Failed to get firmware htc_9271.fw
Date: Thu, 03 May 2012 15:11:33 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <4FA28405.5020807@hs-harz.de> (raw)

Hello,

I try to get running a Fritz! WLAN USB Stick with Atheros-HTC on CentOS5.8 with Custom-Kernel 2.32.7.

I downloaded compat-wireless-2.6 from 26.4., configured the driver as "ath" and could build and install the driver. The stick is recognized correctly and the driver modules are loaded. Unfortunenately the firmware, which I downloaded and put in /lib/firmware, can't be loaded.

What could the reason be, I am quite helpless. Does anyone has an advice?

Thanks and regards
Michael
