It appears that somewhere between Ubuntu 10.04 and 11.10, the size of the grub2 core image when including raid and lvm modules grew slightly and no longer fits in the old standard 62 sector embed area. Is this a problem that should be fixed, or is this combination of small embed plus raid and lvm considered unsupportable?
