Summary: Mad Dog Entertainer 7.1 supported by ice-1724
Description:
The Mad Dog Entertainer 7.1 (discrete) sound card is supported by the
ice-1724 sound driver. It is based on VIA's Envy24HT-S chip. Initial
testing shows that analog 2-channel output works using ALSA 1.05a (haven't
tested other output, yet). I am willing to do other tests as
required/desired.

The product page is shown at
http://www.mdmm.com/products/audio/8channel.asp .
