How are you sending these mails. Do I get them because I'm on git hub or through the
mailing list?

because if I "reply" It gets bounced all over the place.

If this is sent through the list then please do a better email that actually
shows me a link to the patch, the one I get here is to your tree and I now
need to search for it in the long list.
