I could imagine backporting and testing our x86-related fixes to core-3.4 (as it's still LTS), but I see no point in maintaining older versions. If we manage to move forward soon, I'd move maintenance away from 3.5 to that version once it's stable. IOW: One stable kernel + one recent target appear reasonable to me, at least for x86.
