Subject: [ath9k-devel] Spectral Scan Duration
Date: Thu, 12 Sep 2013 19:41:15 +0300 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <5231EEAB.7000501@uth.gr> (raw)
Hi again,
I am performing Spectral Scan with atheros 9380 and
compat-drivers-3.9-rc4-2-su. I would like to measure the duration of the
Spectral Scan procedure. Expirements will be lot different between them
so there is no reason to mention them individually. The metrics which I
want to take into consideration are:
* the total time of excecution
* time for scanning a single channel
* the time for channel switching (when more than one channels have to
be scanned)
* time for processing the values (from hardware or software) are captured
It would be very helpful if someone could give me some explanation. In
particular which functions are called when I perform a Spectral Scan, in
what order are carried out and other information that may be needed.
Thank you in advance
Kostas
