As detailed in the Ubuntu bug report filed at
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1227689 the Gateway
MD2614U laptop will not properly resume from a 'Suspended' state,
instead remaining at a black screen on power-up.
