Sorry, didn't noticed on first run: If you are cleaning this up
according to kernel style (which is welcome), you should check the
result against linux/scripts/checkpatch.pl. Some aspects are not
conforming yet, e.g.

if (condition) {
	single_line_statement;
}

should be done without braces.
