Subject: wireless-regdb tarballs invalid contents
Date: Tue, 26 Nov 2013 00:34:10 -0300 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <529416B2.4050908@opensuse.org> (raw)
Hi:
It seems the released tarballs of wireless-regdb are incorrect..
How to reproduce
# wget
https://www.kernel.org/pub/software/network/wireless-regdb/wireless-regdb-2013.10.11.tar.xz
# tar xf wireless-regdb-2013.10.11.tar.xz
# cd wireless-regdb-2013.10.11
# sha1sum -c sha1sum.txt
db.txt: FAILED
sha1sum: WARNING: 1 computed checksum did NOT match
# /usr/sbin/regdbdump regulatory.bin
Database signature verification failed.
Regulatory bin from
http://wireless.kernel.org/download/wireless-regdb/regulatory.bins/latest-regulatory.bin
are however ok.
Will be cool if someone can fix that..
