Subject: [LSF/MM TOPIC] [ATTEND] Filesystems - SMR, thinp, persistent memory, etc.
Date: Fri, 17 Jan 2014 10:20:50 -0600 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <52D95862.7030508@redhat.com> (raw)
Hi all -
I'd like to attend LSF/MM this year to participate in the general filesystem
discussions.
Topics of interest for me (whether or not I'm currently actively engaged in
them!) this year include: SMR drives, fs interaction with thinly-provisioned
storage, and persistent memory devices. I'm also wondering if a survey of
xfs's, btrfs's, and ext4's metadata checksumming behavior might be interesting.
And, quite frankly, I'd like to attend for some productive face time w/ the
folks I'm working with on xfs, btrfs, and extN.
Thanks,
-Eric
