Subject: [Announce] Checkpoint-restore tool v1.1
Date: Tue, 28 Jan 2014 13:19:19 +0400	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <52E77617.8010900@parallels.com> (raw)

Hi guys!

The stabilization period for 1.1 is over so we tagged the release.

The greatest new feature for 1.1 as compared to 1.0 is the API for
plugins. Now it's possible to help CRIU dump and restore stuff that
cannot be handled in a generic way, like device files or connections
to host system from a container.

More details on the plugins are described on http://criu.org/Plugins

Other that this we have images deduplication, systemd integration
and a LOT of bugfixes.

The detailed changelog is here: http://criu.org/Releases#v._1.1
The sources here: http://download.openvz.org/criu/criu-1.1.tar.bz2
Docs, news and more at http://criu.org

Thanks,
Pavel
