Subject: [Debian] Kernel 3.12.9
Date: Sun, 09 Feb 2014 17:37:38 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <52F7BCE2.9010902@systella.fr> (raw)

	Hello,

I have several Sun Fire and Enterprise T1000. I have some trouble with
internal SAS adapter. Some T1000 work fine with Fusion MPT SAS Host
driver 3.04.18, some don't but perfectly run with older drivers.

I have tested all T1000 that don't run with 3.04.18 driver with SunVTS
and hardware seems to run fine.

Last friday, a power supply was reported as defective and I have
stopped all servers to maintenance. As all T1000 worked with 2.6.30.9
and 2.6.38 linux kernel, I have upgraded all installations.

Now, I'm trying to boot a T1000 with 3.12.9 linux kernel. I have tried
debian binary package. Boot stops with :

I have tried to build my own kernel (with the same configuration I have
used to build 2.6.38). Same result :
