Subject: [Announce] Checkpoint-restore tool v1.2
Date: Wed, 26 Feb 2014 17:05:35 +0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <530DE69F.20807@parallels.com> (raw)
Hello everyone!
We've been working on making live migration work using CRIU this month,
and finally put together all bits and pieces we've met. The significant
amount of work in that area was about dump and restore performance.
As the result we have the 1.2 release of CRIU and some initial stuff in
the P.Haul project. Other than live migration and performance we have a
certain amount of bugs fixed, as usual.
So,
* the detailed changelog is here: http://criu.org/Releases#v._1.2
* the sources here: http://download.openvz.org/criu/criu-1.2.tar.bz2
* docs, news and more at http://criu.org
And the P.Haul stuff is
* docs to grow at http://criu.org/Category:P.Haul
* sources at https://github.com/xemul/p.haul
Have fun!
Thanks,
Pavel
