what is the *canonical* git repo for man pages?

  not sure if i should have just mentioned this to michael offline,
but if you google for the git repo for man pages, you are presented
with two somewhat conflicting bits of info as to the location of the
canonical source:

http://linux-man-pages.blogspot.ca/2011/09/relocated-git-repository-for-man-pages.html

  again, just an observation.

Well, I thought the first page should make it clear what is current. But,
I've added a note to the blog post to remove the possibility for
confusion.
