Hi Michael,

I managed to get it to load the driver now with this strange device tree 
related hack I found in the smdk_wm8994 driver ...

But I got a new riddle there as well ... not sure how to register my 
codec now ...

My kernel version is :
Linux version 3.14.0 (flatmax@highAcuity) (gcc version 4.8.2 (GCC) ) #1 
SMP PREEMPT Thu Aug 14 15:47:07 EST 2014
