That's not possible. ALSA consists of a kernel and a userspace part,
both are tied together very closely, and both are written for Linux
only. It's impossible to port the kernel part to Mac OS X because the
kernel APIs and driver models are entirely different. After all, ALSA
stands for "Advanced Linux Sound Architecture".

Why would you want to do that, anyway? There are projects such as
PortAudio that aim for cross platform compatibility, if that's what
you're looking for. IOW, if you write your application for their API, it
should handle audio on all major platforms. Check their website for
