The mt7621 has a GIC. rather than handle both irq coree in one file we add a
secondary irq-gic.c.

This is the big APSoC made by mediatek. It is based on 1004k and has 2 cores
running at 800mhz. Each core has 2 VPEs. Unlike all the other SoCs from this
family, MT7621 has no wireless mac. It relies on pcie cards being present for
wifi.

Why not use the current GIC driver that I've been fixing up? I
believe Ralf will be applying the first set of clean-ups soon and I'm
planning on doing additional clean-up and adding device-tree support.
I have a work-in-progress branch here if you're interested:

Ah, so this SoC has a CM2 as well. Is it at the address reported by
C0_CMGCRBase? If so, then mips_cm_probe() will be able to find it and
set it up. Otherwise, device-tree based probing should probably be
added to the mips-cm driver.

Doesn't the 1004k have CPS? I think you can use smp-cps instead of
smp-cmp in that case.

Hi,

yep, already stumbled across those patches. i will send an updated
version start of the week. thanks for the link. I will ping you if i
have questions.

i change my code and made use of mips-cm. unit boots fine now and indeed
C0_CMGCRBase holds the valid address. I will look into updating the gic
code to use the generic driver once i cleaned up the remainig mt7621
patches.

i had to apply a hack to mips-cm.c to disable the "disable CM regions"
code, this deadlocked the mt7621. i will send a separate regarding this
in a sec.

    John
