I should note, that patch does not work for the 3.18 kernel.
In the driver, rtl2832u_props was updated to rtl28xxu_props in commit
723abfd787f7cccaff89036b8aa14f56a2f7a11a. So you'd need to invert that
change for the patch to work against 3.18.
