In the past two months I spent a fair amount of time to better understand= and help backporting patches to the existing stable releases [2]. I'm de= veloping tools [3] to automate as much as possible and document the proce= ss [1] to figure out who's responsible for what at any given time. This collaborative work currently involves Red Hat employees only. But as= Ceph grows it would be better if the whole development community partici= pates. Instead of waiting until the process and tools are fully polished,= it would be great if a one or two person have time and motivation to ste= p up right away. If you're interested and have at least one day a week to devote to this, = please let me know.
