Sorry! Forgot to add a bit of details!
I'm currently on custom board based on imx6slevk, so I guess I can start from an imx6sxevk
typical setup to move all my customizations. Mainly the question what to do to set my board
SOC_FAMILY to "mx6:m6sx".
