I am running Linux version 3.16.7-7 kernel, from the opensuse 3.2 
distribution. I think there also may be an Intel gpu that precedes the 
Nvidia 880M gpus in my computer. I have very little documentation on 
these computers, sold refurbished by Dell with no documentation. lspci 
lists the graphics card as "NVIDIA Corporation GK104M [GeForce GTX 880M] 
(rev a1) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller]). No Intel mentioned. Google 
search found "integrated intel 4600 series with Nvidia GeForce GTX 880M. 
Different specs from different places:-(

I will try kernel 4.0 and compare the errors.
