Just one little left over check that no longer has any meaning
(I've dropped it)

Applied to the togreg branch of iio.git - pushed out as testing
for the autobuilders to play with it.

Peter if you get in fairly fast, please do have a final look
and I can back it out or add your reviewed by as relevant!
