My understanding of Konrad's comments are:

For patch #2:
  adjust a comment that is removed in patch #4.
    I did this, but failed to get it posted before leaving on
    vacation (sigh).

    Adjust copyright date from 2012 to 2015 (but not required).


For patch #3:
  Perhaps add 'Recommended value is 7' ?
    I did not take this as a required change.


For patch #7 (which also need a lot of merge work) I was waiting till
Paul's changes had been committed.  Now that they are I will be working
on the merge,

I see that this did not happen.  Do you want me to re-post just 1 to 6
that I have now rebased? (the improvement to the doc, Ian said could be
a follow on patch)
