It looks like a side effect of a previous partprobe command, the only com= mand I can think of that removes / re-adds devices. I thought calling ude= vadm settle after running partprobe would be enough to ensure partprobe c= ompleted (and since it takes as much as 2mn30 to return, I would be shock= ed if it does not ;-). Any idea ? I desperately try to find a consistent behavior, something rel= iable that we could use to say : "wait for the partition table to be up t= o date in the kernel and all udev events generated by the partition table= update to complete".=20 Cheers --=20 Lo=C3=AFc Dachary, Artisan Logiciel Libre --LG2Bjd20iXcO5cVaUPU7hjAVwNg0kf4as Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.22 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAlZyqtcACgkQ8dLMyEl6F231iACfW+F09XFvhzcl8pixEd5uJT7R HKcAoLaaa9XY7dffP1PxO7VqEUNk0DXn =urM9 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --LG2Bjd20iXcO5cVaUPU7hjAVwNg0kf4as--
