Subject: About a dmi table decode
Date: Tue, 19 Jan 2016 09:16:23 +0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <569D8E67.6080104@huawei.com> (raw)
Hi, can I ask a question? Say, we can obtain the dmi_len from the SMBIOS when
decoding the dmi table, dmi_len defines the table size as a maximum size. but ,
SMBIOS 3.0 can support more than 256kb size, That will lead to a mapping overflow
in the dmi_early_remap.
Thanks
zhongjiang
