As a general process point, it is useful to have the complete history
here rather than just since the last version.  Often reviewers (particularly me
will only catch up once a week so it's useful to have a record of all the
updates in one place).

Anyhow, looks good.

Applied to the togreg branch of iio.git - initially pushed out as testing
for the autobuilders to play with it.
