Hello,

I am setting a production instance of toaster on a server. I have a hard
time to use a poky folder I already worked on. I inside have multiple
layers (meta-raspberrypi, meta-ros etc.). When I have set up toaster, they
were not detected. Did I miss a step on the installation or a script to
import the existing configuration (layers, machine, etc.) ? Or sadly, would
I have to make a complete new setup for toaster ?

I have followed this tutorial:
https://wiki.yoctoproject.org/wiki/Setting_up_a_production_instance_of_Toaster

Thanks

Hi David,

Unfortunately we don't currently support importing your existing
configuration into toaster. Though this is a feature we'd like to have.
The supported use case is either using Toaster to view builds being done
on the command line or to configure your build in a project in Toaster.
(Note that there is an import layer feature that allows you to import
your own custom layers, though this does expect the layer to be in a git
repository)

Thanks,

Michael
