Subject: G98, nouveau, again

Hey guys,

Let me reformulate my question:

The nouveau.ko (2015-12-16) calculates and tries
to set wrong 'modelines' for my G98 hardware for
the most of video modes in console; even 640x480
gets weird vertical refresh 68Hz.

Can it be fixed at all?
Can the correct modelines be supplied to
nouveau.ko somehow?

Last but not least, would anybody bother with
making driver work with old/weak hardware? :)

If, with any luck, only superficial changes are
needed, I might collect the necessary data
myself, with some coaching. I can NOT compile
nouveau myself, as it wants those new kernels (I
have 4.4 series installed).

-Yury
