Yup - it works.

Should I add a Tested-by to the merged version?
How is this normally handled?

That would really be hackish, I guess ;-)

Probably I'll go with a patch to the X11 evdev driver for remapping:

as XF86XK_TouchpadToggle is already mapped to 199 in my xmodmap.
