$ ls -l u-boot-sunxi-with-spl.bin

I used the following to write u-boot to the SD card (/dev/sdb):

# dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdb bs=1k count=1023 seek=1
# dd if=u-boot-sunxi-with-spl.bin of=/dev/sdb bs=1024 seek=8
