OK, then I think the best thing is just to re-format and re-install
the OS. I think
that will be faster than setting there trying to clean it up.

All I need to handle is the networking stuff, I do need to be able to do USB
and PCMCIA, because I am using older slower laptops (make nice node/switch
boxes, particularly if you get the ones which are ran off of 15V PSU's. I run
the old Toshibas off of the 13.8v bus that powers the radios, the toshibas seem
to operate just fine even when the power goes and it is all running
off of the gell
