Can you run

# tcpdump -s 1600 -vv >= ;log & at Dom0

and check for wrong udp checksums at the t= ime of issueing DHCPDISCOVER by OSOL installer. When Dom0 send to DomU DHCP= OFFER, i would run same command at DomU.

Finally,  i would capt= ure tcpdump logs at Dom0 and at DomU when you fail
to obtain IP address = for OSOL DomU, what causes udp packages to get discarded at corresponding e= thetnet interface.

It looks for me as failure of checksums offloadin= g.

I= realized that Fedora 10 =0A32-bit anaconda installer does not install PAE = kernel after mounting the =0Aguest disk image file. I mounted the guest dis= k image file using losetup and =0Akpartx which adds device nodes to /dev/ma= pper. I examined the /boot =0Adirectory after mounting the guest disk image= file and found no PAE vmlinuz =0Aand initrd. =0A = =0A

Still using the mounted =0AFedora 10 32-bit= guest disk image file, I changed root to the guest disk =0Afilesystems and= attempted to install the PAE kernel. Then I modified =0Amenu.lst to boot t= he PAE kernel. After modifying the grub configuration of =0Athe guest domai= n, I un-mounted the guest filesystem. =0A = =0A

I proceeded to boot the F10 =0A32-bit guest, since = I changed to PAE kernel. It is able to boot now (since =0Athe PAE kernel is= xen-aware) but then it complains cannot mount /dev/root. =0AProbably somet= hing to do with the PAE initrd file. =0A = =0A
