Message-ID: <7504AE7D.3030904@ambra.ro> (raw)
I compiled the module 8021q in the xen kernel.
Now I want to add a new vlan:
[root@xen victor]# [root@xen root]# vconfig add eth0 5
WARNING: Could not open /proc/net/vlan/config. Maybe you need to load the 8021q module, or maybe you are not using PROCFS??
ERROR: trying to add VLAN #5 to IF -:eth0:- error: Package not installed
The module 8021q could not be loaded, so I tried manualy:
[root@xen root]# insmod 8021q
Using /lib/modules/2.4.24-xeno/kernel/net/8021q/8021q.o
/lib/modules/2.4.24-xeno/kernel/net/8021q/8021q.o: unresolved symbol dev_change_flags
/lib/modules/2.4.24-xeno/kernel/net/8021q/8021q.o: unresolved symbol vlan_ioctl_hook
Thank you.
