Subject: [Buildroot] PPC or PowerPC?
Date: Fri, 14 Sep 2007 11:26:02 -0700 (PDT) [thread overview]
Message-ID: <797170.2741.qm@web58205.mail.re3.yahoo.com> (raw)
What is the deal. I am trying to use buildroot to build a motorola 823 ppc
kernel.
I seem to be getting set up for a powerpc kernel. The Linux 2.6 kernel seems
to have 2 trees one for powerpc and one for ppc - what is the difference?
When I use buildroots menuconfig and select powerpc (no ppc menu item) and
the device 823 I get a i8xx_immap.h file not found because it is in the ppc
not the powerpc include files.
Thanks for any suggestions. Steve
