However, its the bridging code itself that setups nbe-br and causes eth0 not to have an IP address. So any xend stop followed by a xend start will give the error message. Still haven't figured out why xm create is failing though. The traceback occurs because check_vmid is trying to convert the value 'None' into a int. Need to look at why the wrong value is being passed through but someone else who knows the code better than me would have better luck.
