Subject: Elks "images-latest" fails to boot
Date: Sat, 12 Feb 2005 10:14:58 -0500	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <80459ef9050212071459d019d7@mail.gmail.com> (raw)

Hi,

I tried booting ELKS from the precompiled images from
http://rainbow.cs.unipi.gr/~harkal/ELKS/images/images-latest.zip, but
both comb and full3 fail to boot.

I tried them both on my 386 laptop (with a 1.44MB drive), and I tried
comb on my Tandy 1000SL/2 (with a 720k drive). Both failed to boot
from the floppy.

I copied the images from a WinXP machine using rawwritewin, and again
from a Linux machine using dd - no luck with either one.

Any advice?

Thanks,
  Eddie
