i'm sorry i'm not subscribed, but i've the same bridge problem.
it started with 2.6.12-rc2 if i remember good.
mine is stranger: i can't forward ping reply.
but if i destroy iptables rules and reload them it works.
i hadn't this bug with older kernels.
can you post this for me? i'm not subscribed to kernel list.
